So after a two year break from blogging, all I have to say is… I’m back! And I’m ready to takeover the world!!

Who am I? The name’s Jon Jon, 19.76 years of age (*refuses to admit he’s turning 20*), living in Perth, student at Curtin University of New Technology and President of AniCu (Anime Curtin).

Hang on a second! So what is JonJonism about anyways? It’s nothing more than a spoof of Haruhi-ism, ingeniously thought up by Char Char, otherwise known as Atlasya… and if you don’t know what Haruhi-ism is, then you ought to shoot yourself… or continue reading on with my explanation.

Haruhi-ism began as a jest by Haruhi Suzumiya of the anime, the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, but it set off from there on spawning cults across the globe! With that in mind, let’s hope that JonJonism reaches a similar cult status :)!

Anyways, I’ve decided to start up a blog, because I believe that my teenage days are numbered and I will soon be reaching the golden age of hatachi (twenty). See in Japan, hatachi is a very important age… it’s when a child transcends childhood and gains his or her own legal rights as an adult.

The next couple of months will be pretty interesting for me so it’s best to document it all in this journal. And hence why JonJonism begins with this post… and this click of the mouse on the publish button.
