An Update Over the Past Two Years
So here’s the last two years of my life condensed into a journal entry for all you nosey people!~
Towards the end of 2006: Nothing much really happenned towards the end 2006, I finished my first year at Curtin and realized that the freelance web-designing “company” (Elemental4Studios) me and Keegz started at the beginning of 2006 was dead. Keegz began developing his photography skills while I went deeper into web-designing and our interests parted ways.
I went back in December as I always do to catch up with my junior high school mates. I can’t really remember how long I stayed there, but I believe it was for about a month. Had lots of fun tho, celebrated my birthday with a wallet-killing buffet dinner at Hilton Central (which was covered here by my dear friend Bakkie!) , a pool party at Josh’s and lots and lots and lots of shopping!
2007: The year began rather blandly, I can’t recall anything eventful other than my sudden dive into the world of web-designing. I started churning out quite a number of Wordpress themes for extra cash, but I stopped doing it towards the end of the year after I realized that by Australian standards, I could get more working at a fast food outlet!
Jay Jay and I made a pact that we would go to Japan sometime in the middle of 2008. We began planning and stuff… we later moved it to the end of 2008. Jay Jay later pulled out =(!
Took up a job at K-mart as a Christmas casual in December to pay off my Japan trip, fell a bit ill from the 8 hours of manual labour (yes, I’m a spoilt little princess!) and quit two weeks later after I was offered a job at my current workplace, the mortgage department of a major bank here in Australia.
Attended Wai-Con (Perth’s very own anime convention) for the first time ever, cosplayed and cos-phailed badly with Char Char. Had heaps of fun tho!~
As usual, I was back for 2 weeks visiting friends and doing my shopping. This would also be my last trip home, I don’t think I’ll be going back there for a long time to come since I like it here in Perth, and my friends back home have started to scatter themselves around the globe. So I decided to get all my friends together at my little apartment and we had a poolside barbeque party on the night of the 31st, waiting to greet 2008 (this was also covered here by Bakkie ^_^)

BOO! (image stolen from Bakkie~)
The beginning of 2008 up till September: I came back a couple of days into 2008 to start my work experience program with an insurance company for three weeks. It wasn’t as good as I had hoped for, but I managed to learn lots in the process. Went back to my bank job after that, and I’m still there to this very day, cuz it’s an awesome place to work at =)!
On the first week back from university, I circulated the idea of starting an anime club here at Curtin… and about a week later, it began with me taking the helm! I think I will remember 2008 fondly as the year I made AniCu alongside Hatt and Desuboi. We’re now one of the biggest clubs in Curtin *yay*!

Random note: Emess was inspired to design AniCu's logo from the JonJonism logo =)!
Good to see u back in blogging…….Now I have a new place to insult you!!
Careful mate, you don’t wanna insult a travel buddy. He’ll make your life a living hell when you’re traveling with him =)
Wow how do u refrain from writing so much?? in writing about just one day i would write too much…lol. =( sadly i know how it feels, with your friends taking their own paths, etc, well a small portion of it but i know over the years im going to feel it more and eventually will have to accept it and let go of my emotions (the impossible of course).
