Welcome to Japan!

Welcome to Japan!
Today’s the first day of December. And December is a month of awesome-ness!
I haven’t been blogging for a while so here’s an update on Jon Jon’s life! The exam month of November was pretty stressful, more so with the amount of procrastination (Facebook) that I went through. I had discovered a new love for Red Bull (and Mother, although Mother has a stronger effect on me and will cause me to lose a night of sleep) which quickly grew into an addiction, which I’m trying to get off now that the exams are over, with some success.
I won’t really go into detail on how the exams went, except by summarizing that the 10th of December is going to be… interesting. Assuming I pass all my units, I will be graduating on the 12th of February :)! And there goes my undergraduate degree… [COMPLETED]. Right now, the plan is to continue on with an honours in finance, but really, it depends on my results

So lately I haven’t been blogging much only coz I’m on a Macross Frontier marathon, and my exams are coming, and assignments are getting due
!
But anyways, I’ve noticed that lately, Youtube has been coming up with lots and lots of “Chipmunks” remixes of popular songs. A chipmunk-remix would be when they increase the pitch of the vocals in a track using various audio-synchronizing programs to make it sound somewhat similar to the voices of Alvin and his chipmunk brothers.
So going through the list of songs I know… I started searching for the most weirdest (and interesting) ones that have received chipmunk remixes… Read the rest of this entry »
As Mark Twain said, and Steve Jobs (mis)quoted during the unveiling of the new iPods in September… “The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated.” ^_^! I’ve landed safely in Perth, and I’ve landed back into the everyday life of a final year university student… what with three assignments due this week, I don’t really have too much time to waste.
Anyways, do stay tuned and I’ll post up what transpired during our final days in Sydney as well as a photo post of our trip once I get these assignments out of the way.
So my bags are packed and I’m all pumped up and ready to go =)!
Jay Jay and I are going off to Sydney on the midnight flight tonight and we’ll be there for the rest of the week on the pretext of finding out more about doing our honours at Macquarie University, but really, we’re just there for a holiday! Read the rest of this entry »
So here’s the last two years of my life condensed into a journal entry for all you nosey people!~
Towards the end of 2006: Nothing much really happenned towards the end 2006, I finished my first year at Curtin and realized that the freelance web-designing “company” (Elemental4Studios) me and Keegz started at the beginning of 2006 was dead. Keegz began developing his photography skills while I went deeper into web-designing and our interests parted ways.
I went back in December as I always do to catch up with my junior high school mates. I can’t really remember how long I stayed there, but I believe it was for about a month. Had lots of fun tho, celebrated my birthday with a wallet-killing buffet dinner at Hilton Central (which was covered here by my dear friend Bakkie!) , a pool party at Josh’s and lots and lots and lots of shopping! So after a two year break from blogging, all I have to say is… I’m back! And I’m ready to takeover the world!!
Who am I? The name’s Jon Jon, 19.76 years of age (*refuses to admit he’s turning 20*), living in Perth, student at Curtin University of New Technology and President of AniCu (Anime Curtin).
Hang on a second! So what is JonJonism about anyways? It’s nothing more than a spoof of Haruhi-ism, ingeniously thought up by Char Char, otherwise known as Atlasya… and if you don’t know what Haruhi-ism is, then you ought to shoot yourself… or continue reading on with my explanation.
